The Garden Kimono is a unisex workwear jacket made in heavy cotton fabrics, designed to be worn in the garden. It has 4 large pockets on the front body and an internal phone pocket. Inside the right hand side front pockets there are tool loops to hold secateurs, scissors and trowels. The unique feature of a removable magnet patch on the left chest of the kimono is there to hold snips, screws and anything magnetic you may need when working in the garden or workshop. All pocket openings are bar tacked for strength and the kimonos are made with 5 string overlocking and double stitching on the seams for durability.
The new collection of Garden Kimonos are made at a family run unit in East London who Olivia has worked with for many years. The kimonos are made in small batches from dead-stock fabrics and these are costed at £150.00. The amount of kimonos made per fabric will vary with what meterage is on the roll. These rolls are seconds fabrics or leftover amounts found in a fabric warehouses around the UK. Using up these already existing rolls means we can give a forgotten roll of fabric a new lease of life. Olivia's years of experience means she will select only high quality natural fibres, this takes many visits and lots of hours to select the perfect fabrics for each collection.
